About HCA
Harvest Christian Academy was established in 1994 by Harvest Baptist Church. In August 1994, HCA's first kindergarten began. Grades one through eleven were added in August of 1995 and grade twelve in August of 1996.
The Academy was first accredited in June of 1997 by the Association of Christian Schools International, which is recognized by The Texas Private School Accreditation Commission. The school continues to maintain its accreditation with ACSI.
We seek to infuse a Biblical worldview by developing devoted followers of Jesus Christ through discipleship, academics, fine arts, and athletics.
We recognize God as the Creator of all things and Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of all who acknowledge Him as Lord. We hold that the knowledge of God is the beginning of wisdom, that each student is uniquely created by God as a physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual being and is endowed with particular talents.
Therefore, the aim of Harvest Christian Academy (functioning as an extension of the home and church) is to aid each student to grow in understanding God and man, develop his/her capabilities to the highest degree in order that he/she may become mature and complete, and live life to its fullest in Christ.
