Accreditation
Harvest Christian Academy is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, ACSI is a ministry with the goal of being an "enabler" for the evangelical Christian community of preschools, elementary and secondary schools, and post-secondary schools.
ACSI works to accomplish its mission by providing information, services, and products needed by more than 4,000 member schools in 90 countries.
ACSI offers a national elementary and secondary school accreditation program. ACSI accreditation is recognized in Texas through Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC).
The accreditation of non-public schools in Texas is a function of TEPSAC and is recognized by the commissioner of education as having standards comparable to 19 TAC Chapter 97. Student credits earned in non-public schools accredited by TEPSAC are transferable to Texas public schools.
Each member school or college retains its individual distinctions and operating independence. Member schools must annually sign a doctrinal statement and confirm their policy of non-discrimination in enrollment and hiring.
The ACSI accreditation program is also nationally recognized through the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). For more information, you can reach the Harvest Christian Academy at 817.485.1660.
