The Harvest Christian Academy Saints are in Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Division 3A. HCA football is in Division IV. The purpose of TAPPS is to organize, to stimulate, to encourage and to promote the academic, athletic and fine arts programs in an effort to foster a spirit of fair play, good fellowship, true sportsmanship and wholesome competition for boys and girls for private and parochial schools in Texas.

During the last sixteen years TAPPS has experienced a steady growth from twenty schools in 1978 to 238 in the 2002-03 school year. TAPPS serves over 35,000 students in grades nine through twelve.

Harvest's athletic facilities include a football stadium, locker rooms, showers, weight-lifting rooms, indoor running track, as well as student playgrounds, and a baseball field.
