Parents of Prayer (PoP)
Parents of Prayer (POP) have two objectives.
- To provide HCA parents with an opportunity to pray corporately for the school. We meet every Friday morning to pray for our administration, faculty, students and other school-related issues and programs. We meet in the Connection Cafe, located at the north end of the church, at 7:40 a.m.
You can drop off your elementary students in room E-207, and the junior high and high school students can go to the cafeteria at 7:30 a.m. We understand that everyone's schedule is very busy, so we'll pray promptly at 7:40 a.m. and conclude at 8:40 a.m.
- To establish smaller prayer groups that meet on a weekly basis to pray for the school. Is there a burden on your heart to pray for your high school student? There should be. Maybe you can only meet in the evenings. If so, we seek to connect as many HCA parents as possible who have similar schedules and desires that are committed to prayer. What a blessing it will be to have HCA POP groups praying throughout the week!
Come be a part of Parents of Prayer. There are several ways involved in this ministry.
- Please come and pray for our school on Friday mornings
- Volunteer to help set-up and clean-up for prayer meetings and special prayer events
- Be a part of a weekly prayer group
- Lead a weekly prayer group
