Spiritual Life

The basis for all instruction by Harvest faculty is founded on the teachings of the Word of God. All truth is examined in light of God's Truth. Faculty are in agreement with the Statement of Faith of Harvest Church and teach the basic doctrines of the Christian faith.

Harvest students represent a wide variety of church backgrounds. We encourage our students to appreciate and respect this diversity, to study the Word of God and trust His guidance, and to deepen their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.

Harvest fosters Christian maturation with weekly chapel worship services, a required Bible course each year, voluntary student prayer, and participation in student-led chapel services.

Students are encouraged to share their faith and demonstrate their active Christianity to the community by word and deed. On the high school level, student service organizations provide many opportunities for community outreach.

It is our belief that for the dedicated Christian, life is not divided into secular and sacred. The home, church, and school should all work in harmony for the same goal: A young person who has grown spiritually in Christ and who leaves the school as a mature, Biblically-founded Christian, academically and spiritually is prepared to excel in whatever endeavors that student chooses for life.

Christian Training and Chapel

As we strive to attain our vision, we believe that it is important to develop programs, strategies, and methodologies within the context of biblical principles and thereby produce graduates with a Christian worldview.

In addition to being taught as a required course, the Bible is integrated into the entire curriculum of Harvest Christian Academy. Chapel services are held each week for kindergarten through twelfth grade students.
