Learning His Truth - in the World and in Life
As part of our mission to provide a “Christ-centered educational environment,” HCA devotes two weeks to Spiritual Emphasis each year: one week in the Fall & one week in the Spring.
Students, families and staff are encouraged to attend and worship in chapel, join a school wide prayer chain, engage in community service and participate in special events focused on developing a deeper spiritual relationship with the Lord.
HCA devotes a great amount of effort into planning the week’s activities to ensure that all HCA students have an opportunity to find greater spiritual emphasis in their personal lives. We invite guest speakers and worship leaders to guide our chapels.
Some of our recent speakers and worship leaders include…
- Algernon Tennyson - Awaken International Ministries; he speaks at youth conferences around the globe
- Diego Fuller - Student Pastor at Fellowship of the Parks; works with Christian Alliance for Orphans; Founder of B.I.G. Records and has had two billboard chart songs. He also works with organizations called “The Keep” and “Harvest Family” to help churches understand the need for adoption and foster care
- Adam Mullenix - Creatives Pastor at The Creek Church in Fort Worth; HCA Alumni
- Tarrah Coble – Works with Boys & Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth; Leads worship at her Arlington church
We intentionally dedicate these weeks to grow our relationship with Christ & develop a stronger Biblical foundation. Taking time to worship and grow as a school community has had an amazing impact on our students, families, faculty and staff!
