Feeding Centers
Children who receive government provided meals at school are provided meals by Beyond The Known when the schools are not in session. The schools provide 2 meals a day when open. When there is no school, there are no meals.

Pregnancy Centers
Beyond The Known helps mothers with their babies for the first 18 months. As mothers progress through the New Mother's Bible Workbook, diapers, baby clothes, and even gently loved strollers are gladly earned gifts.
La Fortuna Public Secondary School
Educational Support
The secondary school sits on 150 acres at the foot of the volcano. Students can learn farming and the tourism industry along with their academic studies. Picture shown is the ag barn, home of their pig stalls.

Harvest has a block of seats on direct flights with American Airlines, DFW to LIR, Liberia, Costa Rica. There is a short time limit until HCA is required to fully book those seats, or Harvest must release any that have not been paid for. It is $700 to hold each seat, this directly corresponds with the $700 due at the time of commitment.

Accommodations @ the Baptist Church of La Fortuna

5 Night stay @ the Bunkhouses on fenced in property of the Baptist Church of La Fortuna.

There are two separate bunkhouses. One for males and one for females.

Electrical outlets at each bunk, used for chargers, blow dryers etc. No converter needed.

Bedding provided. New mattresses, new sheets, blankets and pillows (2023) for each bunkbed.
3 Meals Each Day (Except Travel Days)
Meals Provided in the Food Hall
Meals are provided each day in La Fortuna in the Community Room/ Food Hall of the Baptist Church of La Fortuna. This is located next to the two bunkhouses.
